Expected Value and Games of Chance
Expected value informs us about what to expect in an experiment "in the long run" after many trials and tells us if something is fair or not. It is calculated as the sum of all possible values multiplied by the probability of its occurrence. In my presentation, I use a carnival game to show the expected outcome of that game and whether it is fair or not.
